Publication: Multivariate Patient Monitoring Device

Developed a Multivariate Health Monitoring System to enhance healthcare through comprehensive real-time monitoring.

The project involves the development of a Multivariate Health Monitoring System utilizing advanced sensor technologies such as the AD8232 for measuring electrocardiogram (ECG) signals and the MAX30100 for monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation levels (SpO2). These sensors, integrated into the system along with an Arduino Nano microcontroller board as the central unit, enable the collection and analysis of vital health data in real-time. Additionally, the system incorporates an OLED display for presenting real-time readings and a WiFi/BT module for wireless connectivity to a mobile app, allowing remote viewing of health parameters.

Furthermore, the Multivariate Health Monitoring System includes an LSM6DS3 6-axis inertial measurement unit to capture motion, orientation, and acceleration data, enhancing the analysis of physical activities and movement patterns. The system also integrates a Microchip ATECC608A cryptographic chip for encryption and authentication to ensure the security and confidentiality of data transmission.

By combining these sensors and technologies, the system offers a comprehensive approach to monitoring individuals' health status, enabling proactive disease prevention, personalized healthcare interventions, and a deeper understanding of overall well-being.
